The twist-grip collar is located 12-15 inches from the bristle head—right where your lower hand naturally grips. A quarter turn (90°) clockwise lifts the collar and bristles 4-5 inches, exposing the vacuum intake hidden within the bristles. You'll feel a satisfying click at both the UP and DOWN positions.
